Duration of course:
Three years course. The college offers a double major in psychology at the third year level in combination with either sociology, history or English. The Course shall consist of 6 Theory papers .Students are required to do a project at the third year level .The syllabus starting from the first year till third year is as under :

Intake Capacity:
The maximum number of students at the F.Y,BA and S.Y.B.A & T.Y.B.A. can be 120 per class.
Eligibility:
A Candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree Course in Management studies shall have passed XII Std. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or it’s equivalent and secured not less than 35% marks in aggregate at first attempt.
Every candidate admitted to the degree course in the constituent /affiliated college /recognised institution conducting the course, shall have to register himself /herself with the University.

History of the Department:
Established in the year 1983-1984.
Highlights of Andrean Psychology Team (APT)
The Andrean IT club – The department’s association – conducts various range of events among the IT students and inter faculty as well.
Academic Achievements:
- An inter-college Faculty workshop was organized by the department to review the new T.Y.BCom syllabus(Faculty members from 15 different colleges participated).
- A workshop on Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy was organized by the dept. for students. Sr. Patricia conducted the workshop.
- To sensitize the students to the needs of special children a visit was organized to SPJ Sadhana Special School(Mumbai) ,and to create awareness towards mentally ill patients a visit to Yerwada Mental hospital (Pune) was organized.
- Psychology debate competition on “ Banning reality shows on television”.
- Psychology Essay competition was held on “Causes of Suicide”.
- Psychology Quiz competition was also held.
- Various educational films with psychological content were screened like Shutter island, Identity, & 15Park Avenue.
- Department also runs a Counselling Unit & provides services to the students of all courses.
